Check
In/Out Deatils
Normal check-in
time is after 12:00pm and
check-out time is before 10:00am.
However, there is considerable
flexibility in the check-in and
check-out times as well as
scheduled arrival and departure
dates to accommodate air travel
schedules. We will make every
effort to accommodate your
schedule requirements.
Payment
Details
Payment can be made by
either of the following methods
:-
Cashiers Cheque, Certified
Cheque, Money Order or Bank
Transfer (Castillo de Sueños'
Bank Transfer Information will be
provided after reservation)
Deposits
** A rental
fee deposit is required and must
be received within five (5)
business days of the date of your
booking request to confirm your
reservation.
** The rental fee deposit is 50%
of total to be paid upon
reservation, an e-mail
confirmation will be sent upon
receipt of deposit.
Full payment is due thirty (30)
calender days prior to arrival.
Exception: Full payment due sixty
(60) calender days prior to
arrival for holiday season.
** A security deposit
equivalent to fifty (50) percent
of one (1) weeks rental fee or a
minimum of $1,000 USD is
required.
CANCELLATIONS
AND REFUNDS
Cancellations are
effective on the date written
notice is received by e-mail in
our office.
The following assessments will
apply on cancellations:
91+ calender days prior to
arrival - 20% of rental booking
amount
61 - 90 calender days prior to
arrival - 50% of rental booking
amount
Less than 60 calender days prior
to arrival - 100% of rental
booking amount
Christmas and New Years - 100% of
rental booking amount.
It is strongly advised to get
travel insurance to cover any
unforeseeable incidents that
might cause you to cancel your
Holiday vacation.
Any "SPECIAL RATES"
rates are payable in full. There
are no refunds or cancellations
on discounted rates.
Reservations will automatically
be cancelled if all fees and
deposits required for the rental
requirements are not in Castillo
de Sueños'
account within five (5) business
days of your request. Castillo
de Sueños reserve the
right to treat any confirmed
booking as cancelled if schedules
are not met. An extension may be
requested.
Security
Deposit / Refund
The security deposit
of equivalent to fifty (50)
percent of one (1) weeks rental
fee or a minimum of $1,000 USD is
due with your final payment. The
security deposit will be
returned/refunded to you, mailed,
in the form of a certified
cheque. Any damage to house or
property or excessive use of the
air conditioning in accordance
with the surcharge previousily
stated during your stay will be
deducted from your security
deposit. Security deposit minus
any bank transaction fees will be
refunded upon completion of
satisfactory inspection at
departure. (Security deposit
refund will be mailed to you
within fifteen (15) business days
of departure). Please be sure we
have your full mailing address.
Number
of Guests
Maximum of six (6)
people for the entire house.
Please send details of the total
number of guests with your final
payment. If more than the number
of guests arrive than on the
reservation, they could be denied
entrance to our property and your
security deposit will be
forfeited.

Pets
Yes are allowed –
Renters are responsible for pet
related mess and or damage caused
to the house or property.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed in
common areas and outside only - Not
in the Bedrooms.
Accommodations
at Castillo
de Sueños
In the event the
property becomes unavailable due
to circumstances beyond the
control of Castillo
de Sueños after the
deposit is received, Castillo
de Sueños will
have the option of moving the
reservation to a like property if
available. If this is
unsatisfactory to the guest, we
will refund the deposit IN FULL.
Liability
The owners and
caretakers of the property accept
no responsibility whatsoever for
any and all losses, liabilities,
claims, demands, suits, causes of
action, judgments, awards,
damages, interest, fees,
penalties, costs and expenses,
death, personal injury,
accidents, loss or damage to
persons or personal belongings
however caused. The use of all
accommodations and amenities is
"ENTIRELY AT THE USER'S OWN
RISK".
The owners and caretakers accept
no liability for any "loss
of rental time due to travel
problems, flight delays or
cancellations, industrial
disputes or any events outside
our control, including any form
of force by nature". The
owners and the caretakers accept
no responsibility for the sudden
failure of any equipment, but
will take immediate reasonable
action to rectify any such
failure upon notification by the
guests.
Owners
Access
The owners or their
caretakers shall be allowed
access at any reasonable time
during your stay. The caretaker
needs access to the house to
monitor electrical supply
equipment and to the garage to
monitor the solar panel system
and activate the generator if
necessary.
Monetary
Considerations
There is an ATM in
Mahahual that contains Mexican
Pesos only. Please come prepared
for your stay. Most restaurants
and gas stations take only cash
in pesos or US dollars. You can
exchange money at the Cancun
Airport or at any of the banks in
Cancun, Playa del Carmen or
Tulum. Most banks have
ATM’s.
